RRRC was born out of group of compassionate neighbors who came together in January 2023 to make a positive impact in the lives of refugees. We are a Welcome Corps Private Sponsorship Group, dedicated to aiding refugees in their resettlement journey. We are a diverse group of neighbors who have one thing in common, we are so grateful that our families pursued the American Dream by coming to the United States. We are here to keep that American Dream alive, by welcoming families escaping persecution to get the best start possible.
Our mission is help families
by providing compassionate support and a warm welcome to refugees coming to our country through financial, emotional, and community assistance during their crucial first six months in our community.
How do we do it?
- Financial Assistance: We help cover the essential financial needs of refugee families during their initial six months in our country, ensuring they have a stable start
- Emotional Support: Transitioning to a new country can be overwhelming. We help refugees navigate the emotional challenges of adapting to a new culture and environment.
- Communication: Most refugees come with limited to no knowledge of English. Enrollment in English language programs is a key building block.
- Community Involvement: Integration into our local community is a key aspect of our mission. We encourage refugees to participate in community events and activities, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.
